TIPS Members,

TIPS will be gathering at the American Bar Associations’ Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada, August 4-8, 2011. We have planned a great meeting with many opportunities to mingle with friends, colleagues, and clients. Our meetings begin on Wednesday, August 3rd with the Council and Past Chair’s Dinner at Canoe, a very cool restaurant in a great venue! On Thursday night, TIPS Welcome, Diversity, and Pursuit of Justice reception will be held at the Hockey Hall of Fame where you can see the world’s largest collection of hockey memorabilia including the Stanley Cup! The James K. Carroll Leadership Dinner on Sunday evening will be held at the beautiful historic Fairmont Royal York Hotel, which many will agree is such an appropriate venue! Many thanks to our Arrangements Chairs Nicholas Hughes and Nathaly Vermette and our outstanding meetings staff for their hard work and dedication in making this meeting a success.

While there is fun to be had, TIPS is also providing an outstanding lineup of CLE programs under the leadership of Sue Farina and her Annual Meeting program committee. The number and quality of the programs is outstanding.  So please join us in Toronto this summer to enjoy the incredible city with its world-class experiences, some great CLE, and outstanding TIPS events that will meet your every expectation. This will be a fantastic end to a memorial Bar year. We look forward to seeing you there!
