We encourage anyone traveling from outside the U.S., to attend an ABA conference, to verify the requirements to enter the U.S.
We can provide a standard letter from the ABA Section of Antitrust Law confirming the reason you or your guests wish to enter the country and request that a visa be issued promptly.
We are only able to provide visa letters for delegates whose conference registration fees have been paid in full and are not from countries embargoed by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Control. If we have already supplied you with a visa letter for your guest(s) and the name of that guest subsequently changes, we can only provide another visa letter upon receipt of the original letter. The ABA reserves the right to refuse to issue visa letters at its discretion.
The ABA will provide a full refund of registration fees for delegates whose request for a visa was denied.
To obtain a visa letter, please contact us by email at-registrar@americanbar.org with Visa Request in the subject line.
