During the YLD Assembly Meeting sessions on August 5 and August 6, many issues of importance to young lawyers are debated and then voted upon.  Visit the YLD Assembly page for more information and then contact your local/state young lawyer bar organization, a YLD national affiliate or military branch to become a delegate.  

Crossing the Border

All persons, US Citizen or foreign nationals must present a valid passport or alternate approved travel document to enter or depart from the United States by air. Please note that some countries require that your passport be valid at least six (6) months beyond the dates of your trip. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met. Therefore, if you are traveling to the ABA 2011 Annual Meeting and your passport expires prior to February 10, 2012, you need to renew.  Please visit the US Department of State website at www.state.gov/travel/ for General Travel Information.
