Educational Partners in Diversity 

The following law schools are recognized as an ABA Educational Partner in Diversity for the conference. They will commit funding to send at least one law student with a disability to the conference.

ABA GOAL III: ELIMINATE BIAS AND ENHANCE DIVERSITY.

Objectives:
1. Promote full and equal participation in the association, our profession, and the justice system by all persons.
2. Eliminate bias in the legal profession and the Justice System.


In order to fulfill Goal III, the ABA has 4 Commissions to carry out the ABA's diversity efforts, in addition to this Commission there are:

This Commission also issues an annual report on the status of lawyers with disabilities within the legal profession, particularly the ABA.

Shortly after this meeting, in Washington, DC at the same hotel, ABA President H. Thomas Wells Jr., will be hosting a diversity summit. This event is invitation only.
