 Who Should Attend?

The 2011 National Law-Related Education Conference audience includes lawyers, judges, teachers, professors, students, librarians, community organizers, non-profit personnel, policy-makers, juvenile justice professionals, law enforcement professionals, and anyone else who shares a passion for educating the public about the importance of law and its role in society.

Can I Earn Continuing Education Credits?

The American Bar Association is authorized by the Illinois Department of Education to offer continuing professional development units (CPDUs) to any Illinois teacher. Simply pick up forms at the conference registration area. Teachers who are not residents of Illinois who would like a certificate of completion, which outlines contact hours for use in their home state, may complete request forms in the registration area. All certificates of completion will be emailed following the conference. At this time, the American Bar Association Division for Public Education is unable to offer continuing legal education (CLE) credit to lawyers for participation in the conference.
