Following a very successful event in 2008, the Section is once again planning a joint reception with the ABA Section of International Law. The event provides a valuable opportunity to connect and network with ABA colleagues on matters of mutual interest in the fields of intellectual property and international law. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served at this reception at the InterContinental Chicago, to which all Annual Meeting registrants and their guests are invited to attend for a nominal fee. Attend the ABA-IPL Section Luncheon with keynote speaker Anthony Falzone, Executive Director of Stanford University’s Fair Use Project. Mr. Falzone is representing artist Shepard Fairey in the Obama HOPE poster copyright infringement case involving the Associate Press.

Tickets may also be purchased onsite at the main registration area. Note that ticket availability may be limited and may sell out, so order your tickets in advance. A limited number of tickets will be available for sale at the Section hospitality area in the InterContinental Chicago. Tickets will not be available at the door of events.
